What happens after the alert?

What if a machine issue could trigger more than just an alert? In this session, we’ll explore a practical manufacturing use case that combines Ignition, Power Platform, and AI agents to turn machine alerts into meaningful action.

Using a simplified real-world scenario, we’ll show how machine data and automated email alerts can be interpreted by an AI agent trained on equipment documentation to explain what’s happening, recommend next steps, and support maintenance workflows. We’ll also touch on how a connected system could log issues in a SharePoint list and help teams track repair status over time.

This session is designed to give attendees a clear, approachable look at how AI and automation can support shop-floor operations, while also helping them think about what scaling a solution like this could look like in their own environment.

The session concludes with a complimentary lunch and time for peer discussions, idea sharing, and reflection on how these concepts can be applied within your organization.

Parking Details

The Grand Rapids Chamber is in the same Building as ROAM and Bank of America.

The most convenient parking is the Vandenberg lot (formerly the 5/3 Bank ramp). If you enter from Ottawa, stay on the surface lot and the Chamber is immediately on the left as you enter the building. If you enter the ramp from Monroe, go up one level to the surface level. You can also park in the Government Center ramp directly next to the 5/3 ramp via Monroe. Park and Ride DASH services are also available from Area 7 and Area 9.
